Thermal Design
The fully covered MOSFET heatsink and 5 W/mK Thermal Pad protects onboard components from potential damage caused by heat buildup, ensuring chokes and capacitors work at their optimal capacity. Dual M.2 thermal guards wick away heat from your M.2 solid-state drives to ensure proper performance. Smart Fan 6 software maintains system performance while staying cool and quiet with 5 fan headers and 6 internal temperature sensors, along with various modes designed to fine-tune your cooling capabilities.

Performance
Take advantage of various enhancements when working in conjunction with Intel 11th Gen processors. PCIe 4.0 speeds are available for one x16 expansion and M.2 slot, giving you 3.3 times faster performance compared to PCIe 3.0.
