Intel 11th Gen Optimized
Designed to unleash the full potential of 11th Gen Intel processors, the Prime Z590-P gives you access to PCIe 4.0 speeds, enhancing performance for graphics cards and M.2 solid-state storage drives. You can also experience enhanced onboard visuals with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 connectivity, giving you clear images with high-quality resolution and fast frame rates, suitable for enjoying media and some light gaming.
Thermal Enhancements
Sporting two enlarged heatsinks and heatpads, the Prime Z590-P provides you with enhanced thermal capabilities that protect the motherboard from damage caused by excessive heat damage. A single thermal M.2 heatsink can be placed in one of two places, able to provide ample support for your solid-state storage device. Multiple temperature sources, PWM/DC fan auto detection, and Smart Protection all work together to maintain system cooling performance. Support for all-in-one coolers is also present, giving you a wide range of customization when planning your build.
Enhanced Durability
The Prime Z590-P includes various enhancements that boost the durability of your build. SafeSlot Core+ is an ASUS-exclusive PCIe slot that is fortified with a one-piece stainless-steel brace that shields the slot from damage. This cover is tightly secured to the slot with hooks and is anchored to the circuit board with strengthened solder points, giving you a strong foundation for heavy graphics cards. Overvoltage protection, LANGuard, and DRAM Overcurrent protection all provide improved stability for your components and prolong the lifespan of your system. A stainless-steel back I/O consists of corrosion-resistant materials, keeping your ports clean and strong.
Connectivity
Connect your various peripherals to the Prime Z590-P with a wide array of USB ports and internal headers. Providing you with enhanced transfer rates suitable for your external devices, USB 3.2 Gen 1 and USB 2.0 Type-A ports are located on the back panel. For high-resource demanding peripherals, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A and 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type-C ports are available, giving you speeds up to 10 Gb/s and 20 Gb/s, respectively.
