Power Design
The Z590 UD AC uses a 12+1 Phase Digital Power Design, 6-layer PCB, and 50A DrMOS to maintain electrical stability for your components. Power Architecture works in conjunction with onboard digital PWM, Driver MOSFET, solid capacitor array, and ferrite chokes to regulate power efficiency for your CPU, giving you optimal performance for your build and improving transient response.
Thermal Design
A fully covered and grooved MOSFET heatsink and M.2 Thermal Guard dissipates heat efficiently, ensuring onboard components are protected against damage caused by excessive heat. Smart Fan 6 offers various cooling features that ensure proper thermal performance while staying cool and quiet. Install system fans with five headers while six internal temperature sensors monitor the motherboard and activate cooling fans when needed. Smart Fan 6 BIOS allows you to adjust when fans turn on and off, putting system controls in your hands.
PCIe 4.0 Hardware Design
When using an Intel 11th Gen CPU, you can experience enhanced PCIe performance. A single expansion port and M.2 connection can utilize PCIe 4.0 protocols for faster program loading and boosting overall system functionality.
XMP Support
Tap into Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) technology and overclock your RAM with ease. XMP allows you to load predefined profiles through the operating system, giving you optimal performance depending on your PC use.
Connectivity
The Z590 UD AC is equipped with various ports designed to enhance your external device performance. USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports provide transfer speeds up to 10 Gb/s, suitable for audio and video equipment. USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports are also available for additional resource-demanding peripheral support. A USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port gives you front-panel access for compatible devices. Additionally, you can connect keyboards and mice to the two USB 2.0 ports on the rear panel.
Hi-Res Audio
Built with high-end audio capacitors, the Z590 UD AC delivers high-resolution, high-fidelity audio, producing realistic sound effects suitable for your games. An audio noise guard separates the board’s sensitive analog audio components from potential noise pollution at the PCB level.
Designed for Durability
The solid and durable Z590 UD AC motherboard uses PCIe Armor and patented double-locking bracket to reinforce the PCIe slot, providing extra strength for heavy components like graphics cards and reducing ESD interference. Solid-pin power connectors provide a larger contact area for electrical efficiency, prolonging the lifespan of your motherboard.
GIGABYTE BIOS
Easily adjust various aspects of your PC with intuitive BIOS software, designed to put you in control of your system. Easy Tune and System Information Viewer allow you to easily set overclocking parameters and monitor the status of your system. Download additional programs with the APP Center which gives you additional utilities for your build. Additionally, you can update the BIOS easily when building with Q-Flash Plus, which makes upgrading easy.
RGB Fusion
Embrace style and equip your build with a unique lighting aesthetic that signifies your personal style. Addressable RGB headers allow you to create unique lighting effects with the included RGB Fusion 2.0 software. The RGB Fusion App allows you to easily adjust lighting effects from an external device, allowing you to change settings easily without interrupting your game.
Q-Flash Plus
Easily update and flash your BIOS without installing the CPU, memory, and graphics card. Simply save your updated files onto a flash drive, plug the drive into the appropriate port, and press the Q-Flash button so you can take advantage of the latest drivers.
